International Women's Day!

They say it's our class's day,
It's ours daily, is what I say.

It's time to turn those feminist flags down,
We're all the same, male-female, white, black or brown.

We celebrate women's day like a festival,
But men's day doesn't exist on the same pedestal.

I don't say that women aren't great,
But why can't be both on the same plate.

Mothers are God, sisters are doll,
But fathers and brothers also stand by whenever you fall.

No gender is good or bad,
It's the human whose act is mad.

We don't need a day to celebrate a gender,
Everyone is here to do some splendour.

Everyday is a celebration for someone,
We just need to treat all equal, ignoring none.

Parents!

They  bring you in this world,
They make you live this beautiful creation,
They help in your mysteries getting unfurled,
They stand beside you in every situation.

You heart them but you shout at them,
You respect them but you make them cry,
You forget that you're their only gem,
 Still you leave them high and dry.

You see their skin wrinkling,
Because this life, they have lived for you ,
You see their hair greying,
But they prefer dye as they want success meet you.

Remember, there's no one above them,
Aim for moon while seeing the stars in their eyes full of expectations,
Of this life, they are not only the roots but also the stem,
Fulfill their dreams since they lay your foundations.

Boys don't cry!

Why don't they cry,
Why are they shy,
Are they afraid of others,
When they've got all the druthers.

They say it makes them strong,
But crying is no wrong.
It lessens the pain,
You lose nothing, relief you gain.

They say only weak ones cry,
It's for girls and not a guy.
But they still don't know,
That girls stay happy, whether a high or a low.

They teach it from the childhood,
But how does it indicate the manhood?
It's normal to get hurt, physical or mental,
Crying for it just makes you more gentle.

Why do you listen to everyone,
You have to care about none.

The walks were taken again,
The talks we had again,
The time was back with a bang,
The adored pair was in love again, vanished all the pang.

Then I met life!!

Barely had I moved on when he came,
He defines himself in his name.
The relation we shared was quite formal,
He is the one who knows that I'm abnormal.

He is the one who understands me to the core,
If I'm the sea then he is the shore.
I don't know why I fell for him,
But now I'm in love to the brim.

I'm the one, he admits,
And we're never gonna have any splits.
No matter how much we fight,
He always assures to bring me back to light.

He promises to love me till eternity and beyond,
'Cause we share a unique bond.
The connection we have is ineffable,
Though our relation is not impeccable.

He's my personal magician,
Whose spell is an addiction.
I can't live without him is an undeniable reality,
And I'll love him till the perpetuity.

And then love happened again!!
When I was depressed and blue,
Faith in love proved to be true.
He stepped in my life as an angel,
Heaven became my life, kicking the hell.

He loved me to the moon and back,
Colourful it was, no place for black.
He was near to me but still very far,
But love was there, no bizarre.

Suddenly he became my soul,
I devoted to him my life whole.
His talks made me happy,
I being the one who was lucky.

The very thought of his going away,
Hurt me just like a slay.
Yet he always says to keep his girl content,
Our love won't have any dent.

He's made me believe in love again,
He be the one who vanished all the bane.
Again, someone promises to love forever and come back,
I keep the trust and love him to the smack.

But that forever ended soon!!
It was the beautiful time,
When there was no mine and thine.
We studied at school,
And the life was peaceful.

Best friends soon became each other's life,
The bond couldn't get broken by any strife.
Meaning of love was hazy till then,
He became the definition, ignoring all men.

Life was so colourful,
The time was wonderful.
Love that was shared had possessed us,
The forever promises had no fuss.

The sudden dissents slowly became overpowering,
And the trust started trembling.
Love still remained intact,
But clashes were the undeniable fact.

We had promised to live together forever,
Situations were intense making the bond bever,
Had thought that love was our cocoon,
But that forever ended soon!!

Longg Time..

Ahh..after a longg time..once again have just finished the exams..but again there is great tension of results and of next class and boards..but we should live in present..and the present is that i am going to shimla tomorrow with super excitement..and will write something after returning surely..because its been long taht i havent written any poetry..and i am dying to do so..so 'll meet you after coming back from the station of immense beauty..:) :)

THE TWO WONDERS....

I have the lovely sisters,
You both are the true glisters.
You are my only world,
My whole life in you is curled.

Enjoying The Cold

Its that much cold here in shimla that i can freeze anytime..My sister has asked me to be careful because she can't see me unwell..So i need to be very careful that this winter doesn't dare to touch me...But its my pleasure that i can feel this cold because there are some who don't even can feel this type of winters...So i am just enjoying this wonderful winter wholeheartedly...:)

FINALLY REACHED....

Ohhh...they have ended with lot of tension of results and lots of happiness of their end but i have reached shimla,enjoying here with all my nears and dears and having a bulk of fun....ohhh....i forgot today is HOLI and we are enjoying but tomorrow will be the big day of lots of fun,enjoyment,happiness and colours.....so what i can say is just  a very very HAPPY HOLI....:)
